چکیده

In this paper, the optimization and characteristics analysis of a three-phase 12/8 switched reluctance motor (SRM) based on Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) for electric vehicles (EVs) application is presented. This research aims to enhance output torque density proposed SRM. Finite element method (FEM) was used analyze process motor. The metaheuristic GWO combines numerous objective functions design constraints with different weight factors. Maximum flux density, current volume are selected as constraints, which play significant role in process. performs each iteration sends it FEM software performance before starting another until optimized value found. Simulations employed understand Finally, prototype manufactured verified by experiment. It shown that can be increased 120% same outer volume, using method.

Design Optimization of Switched Reluctance Machines for Maximum Torque/Current Using BEM-Based Sensitivity Analysis

One challenge to predict output performance characteristics of switched reluctance machines (SRM) is the accurate estimation of the minimum inductance of the stator phase at unaligned position of the rotor. In this paper, boundary element method (BEM) is used for this purpose while avoiding time-consuming numerical integrations. So, the method is investigated in terms of accuracy and computatio...
